Following its successful participation in Riyadh Motor Show, which was held in Riyadh last month, Aljomaih Automotive Company (AAC), the largest dealer for General Motors in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, posted its domination of the Saudi International Motor Show, which took place on December 11-15, at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center, where AAC demonstrated its latest technologies and unique fleet of cars, most notably the all new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2017, which was unveiled for the first time in the Middle East through the show. The show’s audience expressed their admiration for this model that offers a creative harmony between superior performance, advanced technology and new architecture with greater durability and lighter weight than ever.
On this occasion, Waleed Aljomaih, Chief Operating Officer of Aljomaih Automotive Company, said: “The year 2016 was a special year for our company, where we successfully launched several new and advanced models, which were fully loaded with unique features that emphasized the company’s fulfillment of its promises in terms of quality and creativity”, he added: “For the last 20 years, we have been very keen to be present at major events, such as Riyadh Motor Show, and the Saudi International Motor Show, to showcase the latest Chevrolet and GMC models, as well as to grant the opportunity for a greater number of visitors to have a close look at those cars, and be acquainted to their features in their respective categories, noting that those motor shows have become a destination for thousands of visitors and cars enthusiasts”.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, AAC team, led by the Camaro King, the Saudi racer Falah Aljarba and his teammate Zakaria Salwan, participated in 4th and 5th rounds of the Saudi Star Drifting Championship, which kicked off on a special track nearby the showground. The team demonstrated, onboard the stunning Camaro ZL1, their remarkable driving skills which captured the hearts of the audience, and eventually led them to win the titles of both rounds, where Falah Aljarba and Zakaria Salwan came in second place respectively in the first and second days.
Aljomaih Automotive Company is keen to always be the first car dealership in supporting sport initiatives in Saudi Arabia. Participation of Aljomaih Racing Team in this championship and other similar championships comes in realization of its strategy that aims at the development of Motorsports in Saudi Arabia, as well as educates young people about safe driving techniques.
Aljomaih Racing Team is getting ready to participate in local and Middle Eastern drifting tournaments, in addition to the announcement of a number of community services programs; to raise awareness of the importance of road safety under the guidance and support of Aljomaih Automotive Company.
